Prerequisites for CapRover Setup

Domain Name

You need a domain name. You can purchase one from any provider.(Eg : GoDaddy, Hostinger, Namecheap etc) .

Server Requirements

You can purchase VPS from providers like DigitalOcean, AWS, Google Cloud, Vultr, etc.

  • Ubuntu Server
  • Public IP: CapRover needs a server with a public IP.
  • Operating System: Use Ubuntu 20.04 or latest.
  • RAM: At least 1GB is recommended.
  • CPU: At least 2 core
  • Storage: We recommend 50GB of SSD storage. you can scale according to your needs.

Stripe Account

You will need Stripe payment gateway account https://stripe.com for enabling subscription payments.

SMTP Details

You will need mail configuration to send emails.

You can use any provider of your choice, just make sure you get the following details.
